Sheraton Mirage Port Douglas

Location: The hotel is located just out of Port Douglas and on a long stretch of beach. A Shuttle Service operates between the hotel and Port Douglas village (at a cost) with drops off and pick up from various locations around the Port Douglas township and at most times of the year operates every a hour.

Rooms: The rooms are very large (41 sqm) and kept in a good condition along with the bathrooms which feature a bath and shower. Rooms are sumptuously appointed and windows open to create an internal balcony that looks out towards the tropical gardens of the resort. These rooms are great if you want a little extra privacy and solace.

Restaurant: The hotel has a variety of dining options, including a coffee shop/bakery, buffet restaurant, fine dining Italian and Japanese restaurant.

Exterior: Low rise building that is set on a large acerage. The lobby sits at the centre of the resort, looking out over a large lagoon style swimming pool that sprawls around the permiter of the accommodation wings. Beyond the swimming pool, and nestled at the fringe of the tropical resort gardens, lies a picturesque, sandy beach. The resort also offers golfing facilities and a marina.

Lobby: The lobby is very large and elegant and features a lounge area that serves high tea in the afternoons.
